Refund & Cancellation Policy
Cancellation by the Guest
We understand that travel plans can be unpredictable. Because we commit funds to local guides, parks, and logistics immediately upon booking, the following charges apply:
* More than 14 days before travel: The 50% deposit is retained as a cancellation fee. Any balance payments made beyond the deposit may be refunded, minus a 5% administrative and bank processing fee.
* Within 14 days of travel: 100% of the total booking cost is non-refundable.
The "Intentional Travel" Pivot (Date Changes)
In the spirit of "moving with intention," we prefer rescheduling over canceling. If you need to change your dates:
* Requests made more than 7 days before travel will be accommodated free of charge, subject to availability and any seasonal price differences from our partners.
* Requests made within 7 days may incur a "Rescheduling Fee" of 15% to cover locked-in logistics.
Nature & Safety Cancellations (The Southern Africa Guarantee)
Travel across Southern Africa, from the Zambezi River to the Atlantic Coast, is shaped by the elements. If an activity (e.g., helicopter flights, water-based safaris, or mountain excursions) is canceled by the operator due to unsafe weather, wildlife migration, or river levels:
First Option: We will offer a curated alternative experience of equal value within the destination.
Second Option: If no suitable alternative can be found, a full refund for that specific activity will be processed within 7-10 business days.
How Refunds are Processed
* Refunds will be issued via the original payment method (e.g., if paid via DPO Pay Link, the refund goes back to that card).
* Please note that bank processing times in Zambia and internationally can take between 5 to 10 working days to reflect in your account.
Force Majeure
Indlovukazi Travel & Tours cannot be held liable for cancellations caused by "Acts of God," civil unrest, or global health emergencies, but we will always issue a Credit Note valid for 12 months in these circumstances.
